Privacy and your files

Folio Office files
The current Office application reads and processes the files you choose in your browser. Its file-opening and editing features do not upload your documents to an application server. Export creates a download on your device.
Browser storage
Office stores document, spreadsheet and presentation drafts, plus your language preference, in your browser's local storage. These are specific to that browser and website address. Private browsing, storage limits or clearing website data may remove drafts. Download your work regularly; browser storage is not a backup.
You can remove this storage through your browser's site-data settings. Clearing it removes locally saved drafts and preferences. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to access saved drafts.
Website delivery
The public site is hosted on Cloudflare. Website delivery involves sending technical request information, such as your IP address, browser information and requested URL, to the hosting provider. The homepage also requests fonts and icons from third-party services, which can receive request information. See Cloudflare's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy.
Google advertising
The live homepage includes Google AdSense connection code. Inclusion of this code does not mean the site is approved or that ads are currently being served. When Google advertising services are loaded, Google and its partners may use cookies, local storage and identifiers to deliver, measure and, where permitted, personalize ads.
Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Ad personalization preferences can be managed in Google My Ad Center. Where required, advertising consent must be collected before applicable advertising storage or personalization is enabled. The production consent configuration still needs to be completed before ad serving is enabled.
Local and staging previews
Local and staging builds use advertisement placeholders. The AdSense loader is restricted to the formal homepage domain, aitechlab.com.
